NYS Peace Officer Certification




	PEACE OFFICER TRAINING Next scheduled session: Please call for the next course date and tuition. We offer the 35-hour Peace Officer certification course. In accord with New York State law we must file a notice with the Division of Criminal Justice at least 45 days in advance of the start of the program. Mandatory subjects include Ethics and the Law Enforcement Profession, Constitutional Law, Penal Law, Criminal Procedural Law, The Court Environment, Civil Law, Investigations by Peace Officers, Arrest and Custody Procedures, Report Writing, and Conflict Resolution.
